JEAN CLAUDE NELSON
Born in Munich, Jean-Claude began studying classical and modern ballet at age 7 at the Academy of Music. After receiving his state diploma, he was immediately hired by the Bavarian State Ballet and soon moved abroad to dance as a soloist with the London City Ballet, the Ballet of Monte Carlo and the Ballet of the Opera of Lyon.
After intense international touring, he suffered a serious knee injury which interrupted his dancing career but let him to study Authentic Pilates. He began at The Hague with Marjorie Oron and studied with Romana Kryzanowska, Sarie Mejia Santo and many others. He received his diploma in 2005 from Romana herself (True Pilates New York, Romana’s Pilates).
